Mr. Bean: the Holiday

Mr. Bean: The Holiday

Kinda forced myself to see it on a big screen. It is BIG. I mean, not like any other Mr. Bean’s series I watched on TV, this movie is big in itself. The opening sequences were typically Mr. Bean—though not at its best. The stupid-looking look, over-drooling face, stuffy and blotted face of Mr. Bean who is waiting eagerly for the announcement of a lucky draw with a chance of winning a trip to Cannes, France is enuf to lure audience as to what would happen next. Predictable, it is. But, that’s what makes it worth-anticipating.

The next coming scenes were combination of I’ve-seen-that scene-before and a kind of wow-now-what ones where Mr. Bean really—as usual—ruins everyone on his path!!!—literally. J quite amazing.

I couldn’t count as to how many times I laughed. But, I guess, quite most of the time during the movie. I still think that it is one of worth-watching movie for anyone who’s getting used to and familiar with any Bean’s or British comedy. Indeed, France was a calm and tranquil country until Mr. Bean peeped in...
